Developing your gut instinct or intuition is critical!

‘I believe in intuitions and inspirations. I sometimes feel that I am right. I do not know that I am’ ~ Albert Einstein

Do you have a flair for predicting what will happen? Are you rarely wrong about people? The explanation is simple: you have excellent intuitive abilities. But even if they are extremely convincing, good feelings and bad feelings tend to come out of nowhere. It is therefore not always easy to understand whether these informal messages are to be taken seriously or not. Where do these particularly powerful signals come from? When should you really trust your instincts? How can this visceral conviction that sometimes defies logic prove useful? Find out everything you need to know to follow your intuition correctly and develop it effectively!

WHAT IS INTUITION?

Intuition is a spontaneous feeling that gives us the conviction of being able to anticipate a situation without resorting to reasoning. Like a sort of sixth sense, it brings us subtle information to allow us to guess what does not yet exist: the message from the subconscious to the conscious. Focus on a confusing phenomenon that challenges our rational side.

INTUITION: A NATURAL ABILITY DEVELOPED SINCE BIRTH

We have had this superpower since birth. Indeed, when we arrive in the world, we are in the unknown. From childhood, we learn to use our five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) to understand our environment and develop a better perception of the elements around us.

As we wake up, we will also unconsciously record a huge amount of less formal data. Appearing more symbolic, it is the latter which fuel our intuitive capacity and allow us to have a clairvoyant mind in certain situations

INTUITION: A SUBTLE SUPERPOWER THAT MANIFESTS SUDDENLY

Just like the spider sense that allows Spider-Man to detect danger before it presents itself, our intuition manifests itself in important moments. Although it often works in the background, it can then suddenly trigger in the form of:

  • Mental with an inner voice or furtive thought that alerts us and tells us how to act. This is particularly the case with some good poker players.

  • Emotional with a strong reaction such as sudden fear or absolute confidence. For example, it is possible to leave a job interview with the deep conviction that you will be selected for the position.

  • Physical with, for example, a lump in the stomach or pain in the event of a bad feeling.

Conversely, we can wake up full of energy in the morning when our intuition tells us that the day will go well.

INTUITION: A GREAT TOOL TO BE HANDLED WITH PRECAUTION

Unlike reason which pushes us to make our decisions based on logic, intuition is much more direct and impulsive. Faced with this observation, a question arises: should we trust with our eyes closed this inexplicable force that comes out of nowhere? In reality, the answer depends on the situation.

An experienced athlete who must anticipate an opposing movement can obviously follow his intuition without problem. Why? Because the signal he receives arises from the numerous information recorded unconsciously throughout his career. Concretely, he evolves in a predictable environment in which he is able to sense the right moves.

On the other hand, a bettor who bets a large sum of money at the casino takes a lot of risks by relying solely on his instinct. Indeed, despite his great conviction, his success or failure will be exclusively linked to chance.

WHY IS FOLLOWING YOUR INTUITION SO USEFUL?

Intuition immediately installs us in a powerful and very tempting state of certainty, but unfortunately impossible to verify at the moment. When in doubt, many people resist and decide not to listen to their inner feelings. And yet, even though this choice may seem crazy, following your intuition is so useful in life. Let's see together why.

FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION TO HAVE FEWER DAILY REGRETS

When the stakes are high, we are often torn between the desire to win and the fear of losing. To avoid making a mistake, it seems reassuring to rely on logic. However, have you ever said to yourself one day that you should have listened to yourself? Probably ! Regrets are always important when you fail after going against your intuition. On a daily basis, it is therefore sometimes preferable to dare to start with the desire to succeed, even if it means realizing your mistakes later.

LISTEN TO YOUR INTUITION TO GAIN CONFIDENCE

By using your intuition regularly, you will learn more about the way you operate. You will spot winning patterns, detect certain warning signs and become much less easily influenced. Thanks to all this, you will gradually be able to act with full awareness to make better decisions. By making profitable choices using your sixth sense, you will inevitably gain confidence.

HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR INTUITION EFFECTIVELY OVER LONG TIME?

You understand following your intuition is particularly useful in life. However, can we implement concrete actions to develop our intuitive abilities over time? The answer is yes.

LETTING GO TO LET YOUR INTUITION BE EXPRESSED

In a society where speed now imposes its law, our mind is invaded by all kinds of thoughts. Constantly preoccupied, we have also gotten into the habit of wanting to control as many parameters as possible. The problem is that your intuition has no chance of expressing itself correctly if you are constantly trying to control your emotions and reactions. So, let go and stop thinking too much about everyday life! This will allow you to give free rein to your instinct more easily.

LEARN TO RECOGNISE INTUITION SIGNALS

As we saw previously, intuition can manifest mentally, emotionally, or physically. To understand it correctly, you must therefore remain attentive to the signals sent to you. In this sense, keep your mind open and take the time to listen to your feelings without judging them. Thanks to this new habit, you will interpret the alerts received much better. You will gradually come to know when you can trust your instincts.

TRAIN REGULARLY TO FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION

Do you want to refine your intuition? So, first practice following your instincts in low-stakes situations! In the beginning, you will definitely make some bad decisions. But, don't doubt! Making mistakes is a great way to learn. When you do this, you record useful information about what actions not to repeat. Conversely, successes are valuable for identifying winning patterns. By multiplying more and more intense experiences, you will therefore build up an internal database on what to do or not to do in a situation. So, as soon as you find yourself in a context that you have already experienced, your intuition will manifest itself as a beneficial reflex.

FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION: THE FINAL WORD

Following your intuition is a bold choice. Should we trust our inner feelings or side with reason? This is the big dilemma! However, as you now know, your sixth sense will be a valuable ally on a daily basis. So, don’t ignore it! Instead, try to develop this superpower acquired at birth to use it effectively in your life.
