WHAT IS SHODEN?
First Teachings.
First Remembering.
Shoden, the first level of Usui Reiki, is traditionally translated as "beginner's teachings." But it is understood as something far larger: an initiation. A permanent opening of the crown, heart and palms to the flow of universal life force energy.
When you receive your attunement, something changes. Not just in what you can do, but in how you perceive. The subtle becomes louder. The senses you were born with, and learned to discount, begin to speak again.
Authenticity is the container. Lineage is the foundation.

The 8 Clairs are your eight intuitive senses, the channels through which your soul has
always been communicating with you. As your Reiki practice deepens, they awaken,
strengthen and clarify.
This course includes a full Clairs framework with your manual, mapping each sense, how it appears in Reiki practice, and its connection to your soul's purpose.

Level 1
Shoden (You are here)
Your attunement. Your daily healing practice. Your lifelong access to Reiki. And the first opening of your intuitive gifts. This is complete in itself.
No further training required to practise on yourself, family and friends.
Level 2 & Beyond
Okuden & Shinpiden
Level 2 opens the Reiki symbols and distance healing. Level 3 (Master/Teacher) allows you to pass attunements and teach. Both available when you feel ready.
Minimum 3 months integration between levels is recommended.
Optional Path
Soul Mentorship
For students who feel called to go deeper, not into Reiki technique, but into understanding the soul they are healing from. A 12-week 1:1 journey combining the 8 Clairs, chakra gifts, Ikigai and intuitive guidance.

I did not find Reiki. It found me, the way these things always do, arriving precisely when the life I had built stopped making sense. I received my attunement and something shifted that I did not have words for yet.
I carry a 20th Generation Shaman lineage and a Vodou priestess inheritance. This is not background I wear lightly, it is the bones of how I work, the lens through which I hold every student, every healing, every room. When I teach Reiki, I am not only passing on a technique. I am passing on a way of being in a world that is more alive than most people have been taught to perceive.
The students who find their way to me are usually already sensing things they cannot explain. They are looking for a container that is lineage-held, not just well-intentioned. That is what I offer, and what I ask of myself: full presence, full authenticity, every time.
